Parliamentary Support Facility

The Facility provides support towards the Indonesian Parliament

The policy support facility consists of UN agencies which work to strengthen the work of the Indonesian parliament,  provide information on  human develompment issues, and provide technical assistance. Issues such as environment, climate change, disaster recovery, health, social budget allocation, and millenium development goals are key factors in the support. Beneficiaries for the supports are  parliament members, expert staff, parliamentary committees staff, party group staff, etc. The facility supports policy dialogue among parliamentarians, based on the best practices available in other democracies. The UNDP Parliamentary Support Programme, with its good relations with both Houses, is the daily coordinator of the facility.
