DPR RI Five-year Report

The public demand for transparency of information in the current democratic  environment in Indonesia is increasing. The House of Representatives, as a state institution, is not excluded from this demand, and has developed this five-year report in a readerfriendly format, making it easy for members of the House, the general public, or academics and other related parties to understand the dynamics of the 2004-2009 House of Representatives. 

The theme of this five-year report, “Serving the Mandate and Aspirations of the People,” is the essence of the House of Representatives’ function as a representative institution. This book presents an honest illustration of the way in which the House of Representatives implemented its legislative, budgeting and monitoring responsibilities during its five-year term in representation of the people.
